The Devil just convinced you he was God

Anyone who reads the bible will find inspiration. No doubt. Anyone who reads the bible independently will find confusion. Confusion is good that means you are thinking. I'm not here to confirm or deny God. Personally I think there is an Architect of sorts and all world religions are descibing the same thing. Tough advances in Science it has found a way to coexist with "god" as One but Seperate yet together and harmonious. Its just the God we want and the God that could exist are two diffrent things. If there is a Devil all he has done is convince the world he is God.
